The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially revised the exam schedule for the RRB Group D Exam 2025. Aspirants preparing for Level-1 posts under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix can now check the updated Computer-Based Test (CBT) dates, exam city information, and admit card release schedule on the respective regional RRB websites.
Revised RRB Group D CBT Dates 2025
As per the latest notification, the RRB Group D CBT 2025 will now be conducted from November 27, 2025 to January 16, 2026.
The exam will include 100 objective-type questions, divided as follows:
General Science – 25 questions
Mathematics – 25 questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30 questions
General Awareness & Current Affairs – 20 questions
The CBT will be held in multiple shifts across India.
Exam City Slip Release Date
Candidates can check their exam city slip beginning November 19, 2025.
Along with this, SC/ST candidates can download the free Travel Authority pass, which enables free travel to the exam city.
RRB will also send SMS and email notifications to the registered mobile number and email ID of candidates once their exam city slip is activated.
RRB Group D Admit Card 2025
The RRB Group D admit card will be released four days before the candidate’s exam date.
Once available, candidates can download the hall ticket using their:
Registration number
Date of birth
Registered login credentials
The admit card will be accessible only through the official website:

If any candidate forgets their registration number, they can retrieve it directly from the website using their registered details.
How to Download RRB Group D Admit Card 2025
- Visit rrbapply.gov.in
- Choose your regional RRB
- Click on “Download Admit Card”
- Enter registration number and password/date of birth
- Download and print the hall ticket
Important Points for Candidates
Carry a valid photo ID along with the admit card.
Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before reporting time.
Check exam city, shift timings, and instructions carefully.
