The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is expected soon, and farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the next round of financial assistance from the Central Government. The welfare scheme, launched in 2019 by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, provides annual financial support of ₹6,000 to small and marginal farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment Date 2025
As per government sources and previous disbursement patterns, the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is likely to be released in the first week of November 2025. However, the official date is yet to be confirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The last installment—the 20th PM Kisan installment—was released on August 2, 2025, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred Rs 20,500 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.7 crore farmers from Varanasi.
Each registered farmer receives Rs 2,000 per installment, credited three times a year, ensuring Rs 6,000 annual income support under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
Special Disbursement for Flood-Affected Farmers
According to a report by AngelOne, special disbursements under the 21st installment have already been made to farmers affected by floods and landslides during September 2025. Beneficiaries from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have received early payments, while Jammu and Kashmir farmers received funds on October 7.
This proactive financial assistance aims to mitigate the economic impact of natural calamities on farming communities.
PM Kisan Scheme Timeline and Frequency
The PM Kisan installments are released every four to six months, maintaining consistent financial flow to registered farmers. For instance:
19th installment: Released on February 24, 2025
20th installment: Released on August 2, 2025
21st installment: Expected by November 2025 or early January 2026
This regular support helps reduce the financial strain faced by small farmers, ensuring better crop management and household stability.
