Coming from a sports-loving family, Jemimah grew up surrounded by cricket. Her father worked as a junior cricket coach in her school, which helped her get early exposure to the game. Interestingly, Jemimah was not only good at cricket — she also played hockey and represented Maharashtra in the Under-17 category. She often credits hockey for improving her hand-eye coordination and power hitting in cricket.
Journey to Indian Cricket
Jemimah made her mark early. At just 13, she was selected for the Maharashtra U-19 team. From there, her progress was fast — soon she was scoring big runs in domestic tournaments and earning a call-up to Team India.
