Candidates from Nagaur also made a strong impression, with three candidates featuring in the top 10 list.
The topper of RAS 2023, Kushal Chaudhary, hails from Dungaria Kalan village in Ajmer. Coming from a humble background, Kushal currently works as a lab assistant at a government school in Tabiji and resides in the police line quarters. His success story has inspired aspirants across Rajasthan.

Hard Work and Persistence Behind Every Success
The final result reflects stories of persistence, sacrifice, and ambition from candidates across the state. Among the top achievers is Vikas Siyag from Kolayat, Bikaner, who secured the 10th position in RAS 2023. Currently employed as a junior assistant at the Government Senior Secondary School, Ranjitpura, under the Education Department, Vikas’s story is a testament to resilience and family support.
Vikas revealed, “I cleared the RAS 2021 prelims but couldn’t pass the mains. That failure taught me valuable lessons. I gave my 100% this time, and my hard work finally paid off. My parents’ sacrifices are the reason behind my success.”
His father, Nathuram Siyag, works as a truck driver and farmer, while his mother, Pappu Devi, is a homemaker. Their unwavering belief in education and persistence has helped Vikas turn dreams into reality.
RPSC Concludes Selection Process for 972 New Officers
As per the RPSC announcement, interviews for 2,188 shortlisted candidates concluded on October 14, 2025, and the final results were released the following evening. The recruitment process, which began on June 28, 2023, will lead to the appointment of 972 new officers in various administrative and subordinate positions across the state.
This recruitment drive is one of the largest in recent years, reflecting the Rajasthan government’s focus on filling key administrative vacancies and strengthening governance at the grassroots level.
Chief Minister Congratulates Successful Candidates
Following the release of the results, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma extended warm congratulations to all successful candidates, acknowledging their dedication and commitment.
In his statement, Sharma said, “The youth of Rajasthan have once again demonstrated that hard work and perseverance yield success. These talented individuals will play a pivotal role in the state’s growth and administration. Our government remains committed to ensuring transparent, fair, and timely recruitment for all aspirants.”
The Chief Minister’s remarks highlight the government’s focus on empowering young achievers and promoting merit-based appointments across departments.
Rural Aspirants Leading the Way
The 2023 RAS results underscore the growing contribution of rural candidates in competitive examinations. Many toppers come from agricultural or working-class families who balanced studies alongside jobs and personal challenges. Their success reflects how small-town India is emerging as a strong contender in the state and national competitive exam landscape.
Educational experts note that Ajmer’s consistent performance is linked to better access to coaching facilities, digital learning resources, and mentorship networks that have flourished in recent years.
Empowering the Next Generation of Civil Servants
The Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) examination is considered one of the toughest state-level competitive exams in India. Conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), it opens the door to prestigious administrative and policy-making roles in the state government.
Candidates undergo a rigorous three-stage selection process — Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Personal Interview — designed to assess knowledge, decision-making, and leadership skills. Those who clear the process join various departments as RAS officers, contributing to governance, public welfare, and development programs.
The 2023 results once again demonstrate how determination and discipline can overcome financial and social challenges.
Encouraging Words for Future Aspirants
Education experts and civil service mentors across Rajasthan have lauded the RPSC for conducting a transparent and merit-based examination. They also emphasized the importance of persistence and self-belief for candidates appearing in future exams.
Career counselor Dr. Meena Sharma commented, “The stories of Kushal and Vikas are not just about success; they are about resilience. They show that consistent effort, even in the face of limited resources, can lead to extraordinary outcomes.”
She further advised aspirants to focus on consistent study routines, conceptual understanding, and mock interview practice to increase their chances of success in upcoming exams.
A Testament to the Power of Perseverance
The RAS 2023 results not only highlight academic brilliance but also the power of perseverance, family support, and community spirit. Many of the successful candidates overcame economic hardships, worked part-time jobs, and studied late into the night to fulfill their dreams of serving society.
For rural Rajasthan, these results serve as a beacon of hope — proof that dedication and access to education can transform lives.
Looking Ahead
As Rajasthan prepares to induct its newest batch of administrative officers, the focus now shifts to training and orientation. The selected candidates will soon undergo administrative training before being assigned roles across various departments in the state.
Their journey will mark the beginning of a new chapter — one that blends youthful energy with public service commitment.
The success of these candidates also aligns with the government’s Vision 2030 for Rajasthan, which emphasizes skill development, digital governance, and rural empowerment. With young officers like Kushal Chaudhary and Vikas Siyag stepping into leadership roles, the state’s future looks bright and promising.
